     我對愛國這件事的態度可以用以下幾個名言總括吧:

     我對這些名言的解讀是,他們不是說對自己國家民族感到驕傲是錯,這是對於熟悉事物有偏好的人性,在舊金山待久了就變成巨人迷一樣的過程,而是以愛國之名,做任何壞事都不但可以被原諒甚至是榮耀,殺無辜的人小孩都知道不對,但是一將功成萬骨枯; 偷盜別人東西在任何社會都被譴責,但是替國家當間諜是被稱頌的

     二戰時有德國軍官參與暗殺希特勒行動,因為他們認為屠殺猶太人不是德國民族該做的,德國人才能在戰後宣稱納粹不是德國的民族性; 韓國人不分青紅皂白的挺自己人,反而讓其他國家認為這就是韓國人的本性

     人無法選擇出生的國家,所以成年後應該有選擇的機會,國家對我來說就像棒球隊,球員努力打球並領該國的薪水福利,儘管如此,我還是不齒吃裡扒外的行為,就像打假球一樣

      正常說來,大眾不想要戰爭....但是到頭來還是國家的領導人來決定政策,要讓人民參與很簡單,無論是民主政治,議會政治或獨裁政治,出聲的或沈默的,人們很容易依領導者的意志而行,你只要宣稱他們被攻擊,並且質疑和平主義者是不愛國或是讓國家陷入危機,在任何國家都適用
